During 2003 I did a whole bunch of Mage Knight fantasy stories. I wrote four two-part stories and one single part story. I’m very proud of all this work. Happily, it’s all available for FREE on the web. Such a deal!
The links below will take you to the stories.
UPDATE – February, 2010
Sadly, WizKids seems to have taken the links to the stories down. I will try to get them back up. Keep your fingers crossed.
THE “JOLUM THE FISH” RIVER TRILOGY
This is my MK “epic.” It consists of 3 two-part stories. I was very flattered when the game designers decided to alter the future history of the characters in these stories because they liked the way I portrayed Jolum and his crew. They also made some of the ones I helped popularize into game figures! How cool is that?

RIVER OF BLOOD — Part 2
THE FALL
This story deals with the dragon-like Draconum, specifically, two characters who became important to Mage Knight storylines after I “introduced” them here.

PODO AND THE MAGIC SHIELD
Podo is a fan favorite character. A “pipsqueak” of an orc who, nevertheless, has managed to become important in many Mage Knight games.
This story WON the 2004 Origins Award for Best Game-Related Fiction, Short (Story).
The win took me almost completely by surprise; I didn’t even know the voting was over when I got a late-night call from my editor, Kevin Goddard. I thought he wanted to talk to me about some kind of new project, so imagine my shock when he told me that Podo had won the Origins Award! (My second win in four consecutive Origins Award nominations.)
Many thanks to all of Podo’s supporters (especially Kevin & Scott!) and all those who voted for my work. This is your win, too!
You can read PODO & THE MAGIC SHIELD (for FREE — just like the other MK stories) by clicking the links.
